see this is why you should not rush in to the ipad becouse the iphone 4.0 is coming out. do not get me wrong this is coming to the ipad too but this is the thing they try to finishing it up. rumured fetured multitasking how does it do it with expose what it has on the mac os x to look at windows. it is what the iphone people want this time around last time was copy and paste. i hope they have some sort of flash or html 5 support.

This is a review of Brutal Legend for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Brutal Legend is a game for everything and anything that is Heavy Metal.

You play as Eddie Riggs, a heavy metal band manager and engineer. Eddie is tired of seeing so many bands of this generation ruin the name of heavy metal music including the one he manages.

Moments into the game the concert his band is hosting goes terribly wrong as one band member climbs to the top of the set as it's collapsing. Eddie notices this and then you're given an option on the screen as Eddie is talking.

Your choices are "I want to hear the bad words" or "I think it's funnier when it's bleeped". You get this options throughout the game so you're basically deciding between the T rated version and the M rated version of the game.

After your choice the next cutscene plays, Eddie is crushed by his stage and is sent back to the world of Heavy Metal where the game begins.

The story line to this game is phenomenal and hilarious just like most of Mr Schafer's games. Most of the dialog in the game is random, wacky and overall funny and will leave you wanting more of it.

You right away get your main weapons which are an Axe for melee combat and an electric Guitar for "solo" attacks.

The gameplay is somewhat of a button masher at the start where you're taking on hordes of enemies and move onto the next section to face more bad guys but the game starts to get a little more unique once you get a partner for double team moves or a group of people to perform special moves.

Early on in the game you will be given the Druid Plow. This is your main way of transportation through out the game and without it you would be pretty much lost in the middle of nowhere because there's no navigational map on the screen. Instead the tail lights on the Druid Plow tell you which way to go. Red left means turn left, red right means go right, and both lights on means turn around. It's a little confusing but you'll get used to it.

You'll earn many upgrades for your Druid Plow through out the game in shops run by the "Guardian of Metal" played by Ozzy Osbourne. You can also buy weapon and team upgrades in these shops.

In most of the first third of the game you're going around Iron Hedge rescuing and recruiting new characters for your army. Like the Head Bangers which are for hand to hand fighting, The Groupies for your long ranged attacks, and The Healers who are lead by "The Killmaster" played by "Motorhead" lead singer Lemmy Kilmister.

Once you rescue enough classes of people the gameplay completely changes from the third person adventure beat-em up to a real time stratigy game. The main goal of the game once you reach this point is to destroy your opponent's concert stage to win the fight and move onto the next mission. This can be a little difficult because not only do you have to manage an army of people but you also have to keep yourself alive because you are a part of the combat as well.

In order to build your army though you need to build merchandise booths over the "Fan Fountains" placed all over the map.

This mode is also in the Multi-Player portion of the game. You and up to a team of three other players can go battle it out against another team of four in the real time stratigy game used in Brutal Legend but unfortunately this doesn't give you very much replay value since you're basically battling against the same AI as you did in the Single Player. The only real difference is that you can battle against a real player who is using the opposing teams leader so if you were expecting to get to play as some Metal Heads or as Lemmy from Motorhead you can say good bye to those dreams.

You do get to pick one of three classes to play as though. Team Iron Heade, which is the same team you used through the Single Player mode uses a lot of hand to hand combat and long distance attacks, Drowning Doom also the main villains of the game are the more darker team in the game and use a lot more magic style attacks instead of blunt force, and finally the Tained Coil who are the first enemies you'll encounter in Single Player these guys are basically a mixture of both brute force and magical attacks. Choose your team wisely because once you do you cannot change until the battle is over.

The controls are simple, get close to your army and push left on the d-pad for them to follow you. Push Left Bumper or L1 (depends on console) to place a beacon and push right to send your team there. Push down on the d-pad to get your team to hold their positions and defend and finally push up on the d-pad to have your whole team charge the enemy. These controls in my opinion make Console RTS games much more easier to play than most are.

Not all of the game is Real Time Stratigy though. There's plenty of Secondary Missions for you to complete as well. From racing to hunting, there's a ton of secondary missions for you to complete in the world of heavy metal.

You will be spending a lot of time collecting new songs from the fantastic soundtrack, freeing bound serpents, learning new Guitar Solo attacks, and unlocking bonus concept art that you are just going to love this game.

This is for sure one of Tim Schafer's greatest games and is a very high contender for Game of the Year.

I give Brutal Legend on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 a 9 out of 10.

I had the privilege to have an walkthrough with the producer of dragonica online. An side scrolling mmo. It reminds me of a super Nintendo game. The game is free to play. You can by in games items but you can play the game though out without buying a single thing. Why did i get a walkthrough of this game because they are launching a new server. Walkthrough I did play though the game before the walkthrough to get a feel of it. and controls are very good it is a 3d game that plays like a 2d game it has platform jumping like Mario but with RPG leveling up system when you to an area or zone you have to stand on a warp pad and it will take you to a town or a place where you can kill things.

I got to play as a level 28 Warrior me and the producer went in a dungeon together. It had deadly gas so you had to put on the gas mask in you inventory so you do not take damage. first thing we did is a double jump I had a lot trouble doing this move what you do is double tap the arrow key twice then the c key and that dash you over I am not used to a keyboard at all so I feel and died in the game you have feathers they are kind of like continue they will let you play at the spot you died I was gas so I went out of dungeon and went back in the tour guide said click follow and I will get you across and he did the dungeon is like something I have not seen in video games in a long time it was nice to see two Genres mixed together for a blend of platfroming and rpg in one awesome cake. I finally get the hang of the platfroming and now I am dashing jumping platform without dyeing it was a really good feeling to have so we make to the boss a cut scene tells us what he is doing so we took down the boss pretty fast he killed me like twice but he went down pretty fast. After that me and the tour guide said good bye and parted ways.
